A very enthusiastic group of ten people
get together at 10.30 a.m. on Wednesdays in the Minor Hall to spend a couple
of hours painting. Those involved are of different gender, different abilities
and use different mediums but have a common bond which is that they enjoy
their pastime.
The group, which formed in 2007, have a member of the Ulster Society of
Women Artists to guide and encourage them and are hoping to display some
of their work later in the church year. They are not slow either to share
ideas over a cup (or two) of coffee.
As with most groups, they require a continual flow of new members to maintain
a lively get-together. Those interested in joining us will be made most
welcome, and should contact Noel McGuiggan tel: 9085 3965.
Below are some pictures taken at the Painting Group's Art Exhitition and Sale in aid of the Alzheimers Society.
