Crochet Group
My name is
Margaret Sterret, and I am employed by the Metropolitan College and the Shankill
Womens's Centre to teach crochet.
The crochet
class meets in the McMillan room in the church halls (opposite the church)
every Wednesday 8.00PM until 10.00PM. At present we have between 25 and 30
ladies from all parts of north Belfast attending. Most can crochet but we
have a few who are complete beginners. The ladies share patterns, new stitches
and generally have a great time chatting about the latest bargains in wool,
which patterns turn out better than others, and how different colours produce
different effects. Of course we also have the obligatory cup of tea. You don't
have to stay for the full 2 hours. Come later and leave earlier if you like.
It's a night for just whatever you want to make it. Call in for advice, meet
up with a friend ....... bring a friend. Everyone is very welcome and we have
room for more. Contact me on 02890 716396 or just come along.
